Skin disorder refers to a several medical problems that are related to skin. A lot of people are suffers from various type of skin disorder in their own daily life. The most common type of skin disorders which can be seen affecting on hands are dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema.
Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a peculiar type of a skin disorder, which affects mainly the hands. In this particular kind of a skin disorder, the growth rate of the cell are in multiplies and that too rapidly and also becomes tangled which results in the tearing up of the skin in every 3 - 4 days instead of the every month.
When the cell’s production present in the skin of the hands increases then it does the result into the scaling and also the condensing of hand’s skin. This type of skin disorder is a non contagious or non infectious. The main cause for the psoriasis is still not known but is considered to be a genetic problem.
If the skin, of hands is cut, scratched, rubbed and sunburned, then this skin may most commonly affect that person’s hands in a period of 10-14 days. Sometimes general health factors can also aggravate this particular skin disorder. Infections may also be the cause for the psoriasis. This may also be due to the use of various drugs like propranolol and lithium.
This type of skin disorder may most commonly affect person’s hands during the winters due to the dryness and the harmful environment pollutants. The severity of the psoriasis may vary from one person to another person. This disease may also have severe effect on nails.
Dermatitis
Dermatitis is a term most commonly used for the portraying the swelling of the skin. In this type of a skin disorder, it is featured with the presence of a pink or red rash, which may causes itchiness. Mostly of the people are affected with this by contact dermatitis.
This skin disorder is developed because of an allergic reaction in reference to a certain substance. This disease may develop on any part of our body but most severely affected part of body is hands. This particular type of skin disorder is non transferable. In such a condition the person may feels scratching on hands and then condition may even becomes worse.
Eczema
Eczema is also a type of skin disorders, which has affected millions of people and is affecting their daily lives. The common symptoms of the eczema are irritated, itchy and red swollen skin. In this skin disorder a person may feels very uncomfortable.
If one is suffering from eczema, then the person may also suffer from dryness, scaly and itching and also cracked skin and also easily allows allergens and the bacteria to generate allergic reaction. There are many types of the eczema and they may include atopic eczema and contact dermatitis. One may also suffer from a chronic, acute and mild eczema depending on condition of hands.
There can be a numbers of causes for this skin disorder that can include dust mites, psychological factors, low humidity and irritants in environment and home.
