Sunscreen is a lotion or an oily product that will help you to filter the ultraviolet rays, which are released by sun.



We live in such are world where brown skin is admired. Most of us have desire to have a properly crisp and brown skin. To have such a perfect skin, we spend lot of time in tanning booths, sun bath and many more.


Sunlight is very important for your body and it good for health as well. But excess of sunlight will affect your skin. Too much exposure to sunlight can be painful as it is can cause skin cancer. Selecting a good sunscreen lotion or oil will help you to protect your skin.


What is Sunscreen?



It is a lotion or an oily product that will help you to filter the ultraviolet rays, which are released by sun. It will reduce the damage that can be done to your skin. You will come across lot of people who will apply sunscreen lotions while they are at the beach. It advisable for you to apply it as it can allow longer exposure without burning your skin. Try to keep in mind that lot sunburn can lead to illness. It can also cause skin cancer.


It is advisable for you to apply sunscreen lotions or oil on your body as you apply on face. If you are spending most of your time in outdoor sports or if you have field job then you need to apply something that has high SPF. You should apply that have a shelter of SPF50. If this is not possible for you then you should apply something that contains SPF30. It is advisable for you to apply sunscreen lotions before 30 minutes of the sunrise. This will help your body to absorb the lotion that you have applied on the body.


Selecting a right sunscreen lotion is very important. Try to make sure that you purchase the one that has a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF). If you have a higher SPF sunscreen then you will be protected for a longer period of time. Burning time will depend upon your skin type as well. For Instance, if your skin starts burning after 45 minutes of the sun exposure, then you will have to re-apply the sunscreen lotion more often then those whose skin starts burning after one hour of sun exposure.


Try and shake the bottle of the lotion before you applying it on your body. It is always better to use a properly mixed sunscreen. Start massaging the sun screen lotion to your body parts. Make sure that you only apply on the body parts, which are exposed.

It is better for you to apply the sunscreen lotion while swimming. Do not get into the misconception that as you are in water you will be automatically protected against sun. There are lots of waterproof sunscreen lotions that are available in the market. These waterproof lotions will help you to get some protection while you are in swimming pool. Make sure you apply sunscreen lotions while you are at beach and during water sports.
