Acne is due to improper balance os hormones and treatment for acne depends from person to person.

Some people suffer with a skin disorder known as body acne. In this certain parts of the body like the neck, back and chest etc have red bumps. These red bumps are known as Acne.

Mostly people have acne of their faces, it is also found on other parts of the body. This is a disorder which occurs to the improper balance of some hormones. Acne starts of in people in their teenage years. This is the first few signs that you receive from your body that you are approaching adulthood. Teenagers face this problem and after a while it just stops. If the hormone is still not in proper balance you will continue to get acne.

Acne is broadly categorized into three level; mild, moderate and severe. Mostly people suffer from mild acne. There is no pain or itching. You can speed up the fading process by washing your face twice a day with an oil free face wash. Moderate acne is accompanied with a little bit of itching and pain. Going to a skin specialist is the best option that you have. There are certain home remedies that you can try but the results are not guaranteed.

Severe body acne will have severe redness, excruciating pain and uncontrollable itching. If you have these symptoms don’t waste your time trying out home remedies. This is not a time for you to experiment. Your skin specialist will be able to decide on what sort of a treatment to be given to you only after seeing your acne. He will keep your general health and other medical history ibn mind before he lets you know his decision.

The treatment for acne depends from person to person and it is also dependent on the severity of the issue. Many doctors will put you on an Accutane treatment. Some may decide to go for Benzoyl peroxide which is also very effective. If you are using Benzoyl peroxide a precautionary measure that you must take is to ensure that you don’t wear any colored clothes. Benzoyl peroxide takes some time to dry up. Even after it is dry it is not advised to wear colors as it can cause more damage to your skin. Get yourself white clothes when using this medication.

Another precautionary measure is to avoid carrying or wearing stuff which will constantly rub the body acne. A backpack can cause your back acne to aggravate. Ladies carrying handbags or purses to ensure that their purse straps are not rubbing against their neck or back acne.

Try to wear loose fitting clothes so that the acne has good air circulation and nothing is irritating it. Jeans are best avoided at these times. The type of material also should be taken into consideration. Don’t try and any new materials if your skin is very sensitive or reactive.

When some precautions are taken, you help your body cope with acne better. Don’t keep worrying about it. Follow your doctors advice and eat healthy and stay fit.
