Care for Dry Skin

Dry skin care includes proper diet, physical work outs, complete rest so that skin become smooth, glowing and youthful.


Skin takes the first place in area in the amazing human structure. It is also the largest organ of the human body. People follow different ways to care for their skin. The classification of skin is normal, dry and oily skin. Dry skins have a dull effect on the cheeks and around the eyes also cause wrinkles even in youth. They produce low level of sebum. They produce tiny on lines on these spots on face, hands and feet. The weather conditions also have the effect on skin i.e. high temperature, extreme cold and also air-conditioning. These cause the skin to flake, chap, feel tight and dryness occur and rigidly stick to bones. Often washing with water or moisturizing is required for such types of skin

Dryness occurs due to the less oil secretion and skin becomes dehydrated. They may occur on genetic grounds especially during winter. Lac of nutrients, vitamin A, and vitamin B are also the cause of dry skin. Chemicals, cosmetics, soaps and diseases like eczema, psoriasis, etc., may also be the factors for this. Diabetes, hypo thyroid and drugs taken for other ailments may also be the cause. Milk cleansers, moisturizers and herbal products are now available accordingly and you can purchase through various sites. There are different company products available at various prices.

Home care can be easily done utilizing the available best local products which is suitable for your skin. The procedures are washing, cleansing and using day and night moisturizers and also a mask. Use only mineral water and not tap water. Do not use hot water. You can use these with a mild application of baby oil give a gentle massage to your face with home-made nourishing cream every night or available market cream before going to bed. Cleanse the skin with neutral pH soaps or creams, this can be done twice. Aware of detergent mixed products in the market. Excess cream can be applied around eyes to avoid crows’ feet. Avoid highly alkaline soaps, washing soda and drying elements.

A necessary quantity of rosewater with drops of lemon juice and honey or milk can be used as dry skin care daily. This is also called as mask for dry skin. During nights after washing, drying gently apply moisturizer cover with warm towel around neck and face to give immediate results. A mix of almond oil and milk can rejuvenate your dry skin. It can be done once in ten or fifteen days. Rose water, lime juice and milk cream can be applied over lips after removing chapped skin and also Vaseline along with lipstick during makeup. You should stay in cool area, avoid staying in windy place. While you are directly under the sun use a sunscreen to all exposed parts of the body to avoid rashes, wrinkles and blisters.

Dry skin care includes natural herbal products such as aloe vera, calendula chamomile, lavender and mint. Eat good food i.e., a balanced diet ,vitamins A and C and vitamin B5, exercise daily and have needed sleep to avoid stress and this makes your skin smooth, glowing and youthful.
