The main symptom of rosacea skin disorder is the skin of nose and cheek starts becoming chronically red and fails to clear up for a long time. This becomes clearly visible on fair skinned people which make them more conscious. This redness is mainly due to the blood vessels that twist and starts appearing on the skin. The next that follows this redness are the small bumps with pus which appear on the face and in many cases pimples may surface.
It is widely believed that there is no perfect treatment to eradicate the rosacea. But there are treatment methods available to control its symptoms. These treatments not only help in minimizing its effects but also provide assistance in arresting the rosacea from spreading further. Nowadays, dermatologists use a variety of treatment methods like topical therapy, oral antibiotics, spironolactone, accutane, superficial chemical peels and laser therapy. These are found to very effective as they show no side effects. Tropical therapy is a treatment where they use Retinoid, Benzoyl Peroxide, Azelaic Acid, Topical Antibiotics / BP Combinations, Sulfur Compounds and Topical Cleansers.

Antibiotic lotions or gels are also applied on the affected skin portion to clear the bumps. Topical antibiotics like Metronidazole, Clindamycin, Erythromycin, and Ketoconzsole are widely prescribed drugs to contain rosacea. Metronidazole is one of the commonly used medications in the treatment of rosacea. Many doctors use saline water or laser therapy to dilute the blood vessels as this helps in preventing the blood flow on the skin's surface. Mild acids are also used to peel the skin layers to bring in the normal appearance. To reduce the visibility of surface vessels topical vitamin K is largely recommended. This helps in giving a glow to the face and adds brightness to the face.
