Rosacea is referred to as a chronic disease which is related to skin. Many of the patients found the prescriptions and therapies ineffective and they started to rely on natural treatment for Rosacea. There are certain herbal ingredients which are known for their natural treatments which proved to be of great use for the patients. The major ones are oatmeal, licorice, lavender, chamomile, green tea, camphor oil and tea tree. These natural treatments were followed as a treatment against the redness of face. The herbs are known for their anti-inflammatory properties. They have also proved to be of great use these days. The dermatologists are usually unaware of the type of medication taken by the patients and this would result in future problems. They are considered to be safe to be harmless when compared to molecules and combinations of synthetic compounds manufactured. It is believed to be of great importance as they protect against several allopathic side effects. They also prove be the better side for those diseases which does not have any medications and also for those which does not have therapies.

There are a variety of herbs which are known to treat Rosacea effectively which is the natural treatment for Rosacea. Licorice is one of the major herbs that belong to the genus Glycyrrhiza which has proved its efficiency in Chinese medicine as a treatment against therapeutic effects fighting various diseases. This type of herb was introduced by the Scythians to the ancient Greeks. It has started its use since middle ages. Different varieties of licorice are seen growing wildly between Iraq, South Eastern Europe and South-Western Asia.

The main component that contributes the majority to the healing property of licorice is the Glycyrrhizin. It has been to reduce inflammation, smoothening irritation, stimulate mucous secretion and adrenal gland activity. This special component is also known for its antiviral properties which help in fighting against hepatitis B, HIV, influenza. This is done by boosting the T-cell counts and thus stimulating the interferon production and also other compounds which are protective.

There are diverse genus specifications for Glycyrrhiza which includes G inflata and G gabra which are widely known. The G gabra has a compound which is very active known as Glabridin. The individuals are personally determined and they impose a specific treatment plan for the particular person. Such a treatment plan would include pancreatic enzymes, B vitamins, dietary modifications, acid supplements, removing food intolerances, dietary modifications, Azelaic acid, topical antibacterial herb creams and even immune system enhancements.

There occurs a decrease in the acid production in the stomach depending on age and it tends to decrease with psychological stress. For proper functioning of digestive enzymes, vitamins and for even nutrient absorption the stomach acid plays an important role. Apart from this it also defense of stomach against infection of bacteria. The glycyrrhizinic is proved to be famous for decreases edema and itching by taking just 2 weeks of treatment.

There occurs a symptom related to low stomach acid which includes development of gas and indigestion just after meals, bloating, anemia, undigested food seen in stools, weak and peeling fingernails. Hydrochloric has been proven to be of great use in curing Rosacea.

Patients with Rosacea are found to have higher levels of Helicobacter pylori which are a microorganism. Even then, various studies were initiated and were proved that antibiotic treatment against this organism did not find any improvement in the patients with Rosacea. Later, it was coined out that the association of the microorganism would be with the acidity of stomach as low acidity would reduce the ability of stomach to fight against bacteria. This would in turn be the main cause of H.pylori infection. Therefore it is always recommended to asses the level of stomach acid before taking in hydrochloric acid supplements as following it in the absence of any deficiency would be very harmful as it might damage the lining of the stomach.

Another natural treatment for Rosacea would be from the Azelaic cream. It is a natural ingredient that consists of rye, barley and wheat. It is known for its anti microbial activity against the bacteria as it slows its growth. It has been proved to be very efficient in decreasing the skin redness, papules and eventually pustules that are commonly associated with Rosacea. It has been proved through a study carried out by the University of British Columbia that the number of papules and pustules on the skin would be reduced by topical application of Azelaic acid 20% cream as it is shown by the topical application of metronodazole 0.75% cream. The Azelaic acid is also proved to be much more efficient in reducing the redness too.

Both creams, namely azelaic acid and metronodazole cream has displayed equal improvements in the symptoms related to burning, itching, drying and telangiectasia. But in overall concern, azelaic acid cream is considered to be more reliable by the physicians.

Even though it had a stinging effect when applied, they are considered to be the favourite among all.

One of the main features regarded as the cause for Rosacea are that related to certain allergic reactions to foods would result in the release of chemicals which dilate the blood vessels and ultimately cause flushing. One of the major symptoms seen in Rosacea patients is migraine which is caused mainly due to food intolerance and could be cured when the offending foods are removed from the daily diet.
