Precautions Against Alternative Diets for Acne


The list of sugar-containing goods that have to be avoided appears so long that the obvious question is, “what is left to eat?”

There are a great number of foods that do not contain significant amounts of refined sugar. The followings are considered to be high in the list of good choices:

Meat without sweetened sauces, Fish, Dairy products with no sugar, Seafood, Pasta,  Vegetables, Fresh fruits, Salads, Cereals, Pancakes without any syrup and many others.

The important point is to select unsweetened varieties and be wary of added sauces and dressings which, by their nature, are taste enhancers and are therefore most likely to contain sugar.

Snacks are the hardest to deal with, for it these do not contain sugar; many contain a high amount of high oil, like potato and corn chips. A fruit is an alternative here as is air-popped popcorn. Food stores are actually beginning to keep more and more sweetened with artificial sweeteners like aspartame.

It is not easy to change the diet the diet to solve this problem. It is a matter of daily discipline. It is god to know the nutrients and calories present in the foods that are a part of your diet.

What about fast foods and convenience foods?

  • Less expensive foods generally, are less likely to contain added sugar, since sugar would represent an added accost of preparation. The chances of containing must be higher in it.
  • Junk foods are all right, provided ketchup, mayonnaise. Or dressings of the salad are not added. And watch out for excess oil in fried items.
  • Pizzas are generally acceptable too, provided the sauce is not made up of oil.
  • This goes for club sandwiches too. Be careful of the extras or many oil dressings.
