Dry Skin Acne – Just Care Properly

If people have dry skin, it does not mean that they will not suffer from acne.

Acnes are prone to acne too, and most of the time acne breaks out for them during cold weather. This will of course need different care from the oily skin type. During cold weather the moisture in the skin reduces.

“This leaves the skin dry, and indoor heating will add to the dryness.”

During this time, the skin begins to get irritating, and there are also a lot of dry flakes. Sometimes, there may also be cracks in the skin, and this will give chance for bacteria to grow and also for the acne to increase in breakouts.

Those with dry skin must make sure to add moisture to the skin, to balance the moisture lost otherwise. These people must also avoid taking hot showers during an acne breakout. This will make the skin flakier, and possibly make the skin more irritating. While using lotions, a lot of moisture content must be present in them.

Those who have dry skin must apply moisture as soon as they complete a shower, so that the skin gets instant moisture. During summer however, this can be balance, as the climate will allow the skin to retain a better amount of moisture.Dry Skin Acne

An oil free toner can be used to cleanse the skin, every day and especially when make up needs to be removed.

If you have dry skin with acne, it is always best to use very little make up, as too much of it can make the skin condition worse. It is also important to protect the skin from the sun, as it will make the skin drier. A good strong sunscreen must be used at this time. Even with dry skin, it is best to use oil free cosmetics.

If in certain cases, the make up is absorbed by the dry skin, some skin gel can be used in those areas of the face to provide moisture. This will also help balance the moisture.

There are also good medicated creams that help remove flakes from the skin.
