Vitamins to Help Get Rid of Acne

There are several vitamins that you can take for your acne. However, you need to take them in the right amounts to be sure you are helping your acne. Vitamin B6 should be taken in a B vitamin complex that contains twenty-five to a hundred and fifty mg. Vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid should be taken in five hundred to a thousand mg a day. Vitamin A is water soluble and should be taken just before you eat a meal. You should take fifty thousand IU or Vitamin A per day, any more than this will require a doctors approval. You should also not take more than five thousand of Vitamin A because it can become toxic at higher levels. Therefore if you experience any symptoms at fifty thousand then you should back off your dosage to twenty-five thousand. Vitamin C should be taken three times a day with each dose being one thousand mg. Vitamin E should be taken twice a day before meals at a dose of four hundred IU each time for a total of eight hundred IU a day.

Minerals to Take for Acne

There are four important minerals that you can take to help your acne. As with vitamins these need to be taken in the proper amounts. A calcium hydroxyapatite complex should be taken in the tablet form after each meal. Chromium should be taken in two hundred to five hundred micrograms per day. Mineral electrolytes are another very important mineral to help with acne, you should consult with your doctor on the proper dosage for these minerals. Zinc gluconate should be taken in twenty-five to sixty mg a day. Zinc is perhaps the most important. It helps to reduce the male hormone DHT which produces acne when its processed in excess inside the body. However, you should not take over one hundred mg of zinc without consulting a doctor first.

Once you notice relief from you acne then you can discontinue the above doses of both the vitamins and minerals. You can then return to a normal routine of vitamins and minerals. Continuing use of the vitamins and minerals at these high doses can offset your bodies natural chemical balance after awhile and in the long run this can be detrimental to your health.

Other Supplements

In addition to the above vitamins and minerals there are seven special supplements that you can consider to help you do away with your acne and improve you overall health condition. These additional supplements will help to improve you immune system and prevent future acne breakouts. The following is the seven additional supplements you can consider:

  • Oxygen Elements Plus
  • Electrolyte Minerals
  • Systemic Enzymes
  • Digestive Enzymes
  • Flax Seed Oil
  • Lecithin
  • Chlorophyll and Lemon

Perhaps the most important of these seven is the Oxygen Elements Plus. Your skin needs lots of oxygen to help keep it clean and free of bacteria. Using an additional product such as this provides ten to twenty percent more oxygen in your bloodstream. Increasing the oxygen in your blood is also a necessity for your normal health. The amount of oxygen in your body is dependent on three things: acid in the body, nonfood waste products and pathogens in the body. These three items will eat up the oxygen in your body. The leftover oxygen in your bloodstream is then used to take care of your bodies needs. As a result this causes more toxins in your bloodstream which can prevent you from clearing up the acne on your face. Therefore, by adding a supplement such as Oxygen Elements Plus you can increase the oxygen in your bloodstream and help clear up the acne on your face and other parts of your body through a natural approach.
