This may lead your child to various defects even at the unborn stage. You should tell your doctor about the want of child and so that he will avoid acne pill.
In pregnancy there is hormonal change and this might also be the case of acne. You should not worry about this. Go to the dermatologist but do not tell that you want oral pill as you will be all right faster. Even though the topical treatment may take time for pregnant female that is suitable. If you want to take acne pill you must be well aware about the side effects also. It should be remembered that you should take acne pill only under dermatologist's supervision. It should be taken only when acne is severe.
