Every newspaper or magazine for females, have readers asking questions about acne prevention. This itself proves your concern for acne prevention. Some times we are misguided by people who give us improper advise on certain things. These notions are wrong. They are only myths and are not supported by any logical reasoning. We should have proper knowledge of acne prevention.
Acne prevention depends on a healthy life style, good eating habits, nutritional food, drinking gallons of water, less stress, quality of sleep etc. If some one tells you should not eat fried food and discard it from your menu completely please do not believe him. Any thing, if eaten in balance does not harm. If you continue eating fresh fruits and vegetable salads you will have rich vitamins and minerals. Thus you can continue with some fried food. If your diet consists of junk food only then your skin is at harm.
You should not touch the pimple with your hands as it causes infection also in other areas of the face. Some people feel that by pressing the pimple tightly they are destroying it. This is a wrong notion. This worsens the situation. The pain would increase. The pimple will bleed and also puss will be accumulated. So please, leave that pimple alone. This is a golden rule of acne prevention. You can apply the cream or gel on it as prescribed with a clean piece of cotton.
Coffee and chocolates are harmful and create acne. This was cited in one of the articles. However, nothing has been proved as regards to this. This is a myth. If you have a good and nutritious diet your skin will remain healthy. Then you can also enjoy your chocolates, cakes and coffees.
