Nowadays most people suffer from acne and surprisingly there are a few people that actually make their acne or skin condition worse as of not properly caring for their acne. Actual cause of acne is hormonal imbalance, but what you eat is also have a positive or negative effect on your acne problem. Many people believe that eating certain kinds of food could be a cause of acne. However, the researches conducted in this regard have concluded that food is not the cause of acne though some kinds of food can help prevent acne and assist to get rid of acne. The foods that one should avoid if any one suffers form acne outbreaks, those are high on saturated fats because such foods can make the skin oily and trigger acne outbreak. This means that you have to avoid meats and dairy product, as they are very rich in saturated fats. This does not mean that you need to remove it from your diet completely. You just have to control their intake. People with persistent acne should be careful and use only mild lotions and soaps, as well as antibacterial cleaning products. It is very easy to make the skin dry by using harsh soaps, but there are many available on the market for acne-prone skin that would be good choices.
It is important to remember that do not scrub the face too hard, as that could upset the delicate, inflamed skin even more. Moisturizers and other solutions for maintaining the natural moisture of the skin will be applied to rectify excessive dryness of skin. People with skin disorder are more prone to sunburns, as well, so, one must take necessary precautions like using sunscreen lotions, and wide brimmed hats before going out in the sun. In case of acne disease, you should consult a dermatologist who specializes in hormone imbalances. They measure the level of hormones in a patient and to determine any specific hormone causing acne. Though the method of treatment is different from patient to patient, the purpose of this treatment is to lower the level of testosterone. Oral medicines or injections are recommended for reducing testosterone, which in turn results in reducing the severity of acne problem. Dermatologists are clear the blackheads, whiteheads, and milia by using special needles. These needles exist in various sizes and the usage depends on the size of the acne.
